This book is arranged for students at the MBA level and investors who are interested in securities market in Japan. There are two main subjects treated in this book. The first subject is to grasp macro economic environment and to value listed equities in Japan. The second subject is to discuss the securities market in Japan. In other words, this book is not only a textbook for stocks and bonds investment but also a book writing down research results of the author. The author specializes in the study of institutional investors in Japan and has been analyzing cross-shareholdings for 20 years. The uniqueness of this book is next points: The first is that the author finds the pension funds in Japan have a tendency to follow the behavior of other investors. The Second is that SRI(Socially responsible investment）may be efficient in the securities market in Japan.
